Features of Shahjalal Islami Bank DPS

  •  DPS tenure of Shahjalal Islami Bank is 3 years, 5 years, 8 years and 10 years.
  • The monthly installment amount or deposit amount is five hundred taka or its multiple. But the maximum is fifty thousand taka.
  • Shahjalal Islami Bank DPS Payment Date: Installment must be paid between 1st and 25th of the month. Advance installment deposit facility is available.
  • A person can open more than one DPS account if he wants.
  • One of the features of this DPS is the investment facility. That means the customer can withdraw against the money deposited in his DPS. The repayment period of this loan will be one year i.e. 12 months.
  • In case of installment default: In case of failure to deposit the installment within the due date. The defaulted installments can be paid along with the next month's installments along with the prescribed fee.
  • If the account is closed before the expiry date, only the deposited amount will be refunded if the account is closed within one year of opening the account.
  • As above one year but up to three years the deposited money is returned with interest at annual savings rate.

Three-year term customer will get 20 thousand taka by depositing 500 taka monthly. 40,000 taka in deposit of 1,000 taka. 80,000 on a deposit of 2,000 taka. 5000 deposit 2,00,000 in three years. 10,000 taka deposit taka 4,00,000 in three years. 10,00,000 in deposit 25,000 taka. 20,00,000 on a deposit of 50,000. 5 year term customer will get 36,000 taka on 500 taka deposit. 1000 Tk deposit will get Tk 72,000. 1,44,000 will get 1,44,000 by depositing 2000 taka. 5000 Tk deposit will get Tk 3,60,000. Tk 10,000 deposit will get Tk 60,20,000. If you deposit 25,000 thousand you will get 18,00,000 taka. If you deposit 50,000 taka you will get 36,00,000 taka. In DPS for 8 years, customer will get 64,870 taka by depositing 500 taka. 1000 Tk deposit will get Tk 1,29,740. 2,59,480 will get 2,59,480 by depositing 2000 taka. 5000 taka deposit will get 6,48,700 taka. A deposit of 10,000 taka will get you 12,97,400 taka. You will get 32,43,500 taka by depositing 25 thousand taka.

50,000 taka deposit will get 64,87,000 taka. In 10 years, you will get 88,225 taka for 500 taka monthly. 1,000 Tk deposit will get Tk 1,76,450. A deposit of 2,000 taka will get you 3,52,900 taka. 5,000 deposit will get 8,82,250 Tk. 10,000 Tk deposit will get Tk 17,64,500. Tk 25,000 deposit will get Tk 44,11,250. 50,000 taka deposit will get 88,22,500 taka.

  1. Photocopy of account holder's NID or valid passport or birth registration.
  2. Photocopy of electricity bill or water bill or gas bill of account holder for address proof.
  3. 2 copies of recent photo of account holder.
  4. Photocopy of valid NID or passport or birth registration of nominated nominee.
  5. 1 copy of recent photograph of nominated nominee.
  6. E-teen certificate if any.
  7. If the account holder is a minor, his legal guardian should provide all the documents.
  8. Customer or account holder must have a savings account with Shahjalal Islami Bank.

If have E-TIN Certificate

Then your government tax deduction will be 10%. And if you don't have e-teen certificate, your government tax deduction will be 15%.
